This is why AMP assures a better user experience & faster than RWD. But if your website relies on web forms and custom applications, RWD is better than AMP as the latter is not the full featured technique in this scenario

Apart from the functions, AMP and RWD mobile friendly pages differ by the application process. By application process we mean that you can deploy them to your webpage.
